Description

Reporting to the Operations Manager, assists on coordinating activities relating to the protection, safeguarding and security of client assets. Ensures that all client engagements are properly staffed. Supports the design, implementation and monitoring of security policies, procedures and programs; complies with federal, state and local legal regulations.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Assists the NJ Operations Manager on planning, examining, analyzing, evaluating and supervising USSC's security operations, including physical security assets and security personnel; prepares reports and records for executive management team; identifies and resolves security related client problems; develops and implements alternative methods for security operation improvement; directly supervises security personnel; performs audits of security related performance.

Schedules security training of asset protection agents; assists in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning; serves as US Security Care’s liaison with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies as it relates to the delivery of security services to clients; and performs other activities as assigned.

Directs and coordinates, through subordinate and/or contract personnel, US Security Care activities and security functions, utilizing knowledge of established policies, procedures and practices; resolves work grievances or submits unsettled grievances to Human Resources and Administration or other US Security Care corporate officer for action; prepares work schedules; assigns or delegates responsibilities; provides work directives; resolves problems; sets deadlines to ensure completion of operational security functions; interprets and disseminates US Security Care policy to subordinate personnel; and evaluates employee performance; may be required to stand posts or perform other security related functions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- High School Diploma;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Must be active or retired Law Enforcement and legally able to carry a firearm in New Jersey by either

An RPO Card or other active law enforcement credentials. 
- Must possess or be able to obtain all State licensing requirements;
- Pass the USSC’s internal firearms qualification test.
-Must successfully pass background proceedings.


HIGHLY DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field;
- Completed a recognized Police Supervisor Training Program;
- 3-5 years of Operations Management Experience in a Protective Environment.
